Walk to D'Feet ALS

Once again, Luke and I will be walking in the Walk to D'Feet ALS on November 8. We have a new location, Citizen's Bank Park area in Philadelphia. Apparently, the Phillies are huge supporters of the ALS Association. (Yay Phillies!)

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a fatal neuromuscular disease that can strike anyone without warning. Every 90 minutes someone in this country will be diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes someone will lose their battle against this devastating disease. Singing City Fall Concert

Hello Everybody!

I am writing to inform you of the Singing City Fall Concert, which is taking place on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. David's Episcopal Church. The theme of the concert is poetry that has been put to music, some very old and some very new. It is a wonderful hodge-podge of beautiful poetry and music.

Singing City has a great "line-up" for the season and this is the "kick-off." I would love it if you could be there to enjoy the experience.

If you do want tickets, please let me know and I can buy them for you at a discounted rate ($20/person).
